Rosseti Group is the backbone of Russia’s electricity grid and one of the largest power grid companies globally. A total of 78% of electricity generated in Russia is distributed via the grids of Rosseti Group subsidiaries. The Russian government is the company’s controlling shareholder with an 88.04% stake. The company is included in the list of Russia’s strategic enterprises and strategic joint stock companies.
Reporting
Horizon CF has a proven track record in preparing complex, integrated, turnkey non-financial reports for its clients. Rosseti is one such client benefitting from our reporting expertise.
To help Rosseti build a comprehensive approach to disclosures, Horizon CF provides advisory services during the preparation of non-financial reports and acts as a general contractor for the entire scope of work.
Each year since 2019, we have been working with Rosseti to prepare annual reports that meet all legal and regulatory requirements, GRI-compliant corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability reports, and DTR-compliant Annual Financial Reports (AFRs).
Our work encompasses a full spectrum of tasks, from developing the concept, structure and content of the report to creating an interactive version of the report or having it printed and scrutinised via public consultations at the RSPP Council on Non-financial Reporting.
Despite the significant restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the spring of 2020, the Horizon CF team managed to shift to home working without compromising on the projects’ quality or deadlines.
Our thorough and constructive work with the Rosseti team to develop the company’s non-financial reporting significantly improved the level and quality of these disclosures, which have gone on to receive praise from the international expert community.
The widely-respected ReportWatch/Comprend Annual Report on Annual Reports raised its rating of Rosseti’s annual reports from 4B+ in 2019 to 3A– in 2020. Progress was also made in the contest’s overall ranking, with the company jumping from 332nd to 98th out of the top 500 reports globally.
